Detailed Descriptions

Sponsored Email

• A sponsored email is an email sent to over 10,700 local e-mail subscribers that promotes a single sponsor or idea
• E-mail has one 300 x 250 ad slot
• Text body of about 300 words or less for the main message (less is best!)
• Up to three JPG or GIF images at the bottom 
• Ad links directly to your sites or even a video          
• Limitation to one sponsored email once a month, on a first come, first serve basis
• Offering discounts or doing a giveaway generates the best results​
• All wordage & images must be ready-to-place, no editing required
• Ad design, wordage, picture collages, picture format changes, etc. are available for additional fees

Top Banner Ad

• Exclusive "top of page" advertising!
• Top Banner Ads appear prominently at the top of the website pages and the weekly e-newsletter
• Clickable to your website
• Ad Tracking– views and clicks
• Rotates with one local and one national ad
• Capable of embedding pictures & a Youtube video
• Free listing for your business in the Business Directory & yearly guides when you have a top banner ad

• 728w x 90h pixels
• Maximum 40K
• JPG or GIF format only
• Include the link you want your ad to click to​

Side Ads

• Side Banner Ads appear on the side of the website pages and the weekly e-newsletter
• Clickable to your website.
• Ad Tracking– views and clicks
• Ads rotate with each click
• Located on the right side of the page in every e-newsletter and website
• Capable of embedding pictures & a Youtube video
• Free listing for your business in the Business Directory & yearly guides when you have a side ad
• 300w X 250h pixels
• Maximum 400K
• JPG or GIF format only
• Include the link you want your ad to click to

 

Featured Article

• Featured Articles appear within the e-newsletter & website for a week
• Clickable to your website
• Free social media post that links to your featured article
• Free Pinterest pin of your featured article

• Capable of embedding pictures & a Youtube video

The Business Directory exists to connect parents with local solutions to their everyday needs.  Our goal is to fill each directory with all sorts of helpful local listings, and we hope your business will be one of them!

Yearly Guide Listing

• Inclusion in all Guides that apply to your business:  Childcare/Preschool, Birthday, Photography, Health/Fitness, 100 Days of Summer Fun!,  Summer Camp/Activities, Kid's Meal Deals, Holiday Gift Guide, etc.
• A link to your business listing or website will be included
• Guides also appear in the Business Listing as well
• Periodically, Guides become Featured Articles with a Social Media link

Video Review

• 2-5 minute review of your business

 Creative Policy  

• All ads must be family-friendly and child appropriate
• Macaroni Kid has final approval of all ads with respect to creative/editorial content
• All wordage & images must be ready-to-place, no editing required
• Ad design, wordage, picture collages, picture format changes, etc. are available for additional fees
• Macaroni Kid reserves the right to decline to place or to remove an ad from the website at any time, for any reason
